“Courtyard of Stillness” is a residential retreat designed to bring serenity through spatial clarity and material honesty. Inspired by the quiet balance of Japanese and Scandinavian design principles, the architecture creates a dialogue between earth, light, and structure.
At the center of the home is an open courtyard that serves as a calm core. Natural light softly filters through the space, touching textured walls and reflecting gently on the water. The material palette includes muted earth tones, raw stone, and warm timber, all chosen to create a peaceful and grounded atmosphere.
The layout is intentionally minimal, allowing the architecture to breathe and the surroundings to be felt. Framed views and soft shadows invite slow moments and quiet reflection. This space is more than just a home. It is a place to feel present, to slow down, and to return to a state of stillness.
