This vacation villa project by BES Project redefines luxury through a deep connection with nature and raw materiality. The design philosophy centers on a Modern Tropical aesthetic, where clean architectural lines meet the rugged beauty of the natural environment. By utilizing open plan layouts and expansive glass walls, we invited the lush greenery of the outdoors to become an integral part of the interior decor. This approach creates a seamless transition between the sanctuary of the home and the tropical landscape, offering a living experience that is both sophisticated and profoundly grounded.

We embraced a sense of Rustic Minimalism to highlight the authentic textures of the materials used throughout the villa. The interior features a curated palette of earth tones, where weathered timber ceilings and coarse plaster walls provide a tactile richness that feels both ancient and contemporary. By integrating organic elements like woven wall hangings and stone basins, we enhanced the sensory depth of the space. Every detail was carefully chosen to celebrate the beauty of natural imperfections, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages total relaxation.

The final character of the villa is shaped by the delicate interplay of light and shadow which we treated as a primary design element. Large scale windows and strategic openings allow natural sunlight to filter through the space, creating rhythmic patterns that change throughout the day. We used soft diffused lighting to accentuate the structural forms of the furniture and the intricate textures of the woven screens. This focus on atmospheric depth ensures that the villa is not just a building but a tranquil retreat that evolves with the movement of the sun; we call this “The Verdant Sanctuary.”
